2Ever wondered how your favourite author writes? Silvia Hartmann might not be your favourite author but she is showing you exactly how she writes. Hartmann is typing her new novel “The Dragon Lords” in a live environment by way of a public Google Docs document. Users can literally read it as she types, letter for letter, backspace, to re-write, coffee break to day off. And, as if full public disclosure wasn’t enough, she’s also set up a comments section to take feedback and help shape the storyline! I hope for her sake she’s got thick skin and gets some constructive feedback - we all know what anonymous posting brings out in people! Great idea, though, very keen to see how this plugs along.
